Mon job est d'en trouver un!
Upon my return from Europe, I made it a point to find employment in the USA, and preferebly in the Education industry where I would be better suited to contribute and find satisfaction in the work to be performed.
It has been close to one month since the completion of my MA degree from Purdue University in French-French Literature...and not quite a solid job offer has presented itself! Furthermore, to make matters worst, I have heard and even being told on several occasions that the 2009 year is not the most fortunate for recent graduates looking for employment- throughout the world.
Now, I have armed myself with a healthy dose of optimism in my continous job search. I must admit that during that time of (unwanted) break, I took it as a (priceless) opportunity to explore the core of my possible career paths- for I am nearly at age to be "settled", at least in my case with sometype of a career.
I thrive in a working atmosphere. Thus far, is the one thing I know how to do best. And, to say the least, it keeps me away from boredom, vice and laziness- to paraphrase the French writer, Voltaire.
