° Camille and i had so much fun having lunch on tuesday during our two-hour-break from school and work.
° on wednesday, when i went to the
marché, i picked up a few figs to experiment with a new dessert...yum!
° then, on thursday, Laurianne invited Julie and i at a dinner party at her place.
° on friday (today) i attended a book signing of a famous Haitian writer and poet, Lyonel Trouillot, on whom i am writing a dissertation at the
Université de Strasbourg...
° ...needless to say that i was absolutely thrilled when i introduced myself to him and told him of my academic project...
° ...as a result, i will get to interview him- and i got his latest book "La belle amour humaine" signed. i know, it's a bit geeky of me, right!!!
