Où est cette femme?

In any case study, one element is universal: observation of the subject. This particular case study I undertood this day is entitled: Life of a Haitian woman Overseas. Here is how the story enveils: "One still washes (most of) her clothes by hand and turns off the lights if not using a room to save a buck or two for the sake of old time- now, industrial countries and nations call this a 'green act' to save energy; therefore, the earth...who knew! Another is still peddling her way through the economic wows in America. One diligently takes care of her husband and children in the suburbs of the USA. The other dares to pursuie the educational ladder-where some, even close ones, call her ambitious for a Haitian woman. Another, rather intelligent and calculating, marries for her rights to remain legal in a foreign land. While some, without deeper roots to draw from, loose themselves in the industrial world with a huge gap of language barrier to overcome, someday. One is the eternal nomad in following her dream to find the country or the nation that better suits her personality to create change. Yet another, remains the the shadows of the 21st century." One and the other still have a few things in common. The first, each of them still remembers the notion of 'home'-whether it brings joys or tears. The second, they each have the strong desire to claim living (her) life. No judgement involved!
