° scallions are widely spread & use in Haiti-my nativve country- to flavor our Caribbean dishes.
° a French pot au feu is mixed with some Haitian (sweet) plaintians...de.lish!
° anything & everthing is a pretty good excuse to go on a stamp...even the famous French tarte tatin that i savour spearingly, please!
° it's a fact: Haitians love their rice dishes. well, i am Haitian. i could eat rice everyday, if i had it my way. but, i prefer the whole grain kind with sautéed vegetables, wild salmon and of course, a side dish of plaintain ;-)
