# 25: atelier de reliure.les bancs d'une église.des politicians
° for the first time +ever+ i have attended a political debate between two major (French) opponents. the presidential votes in 2012 will pave the way for the French and for the future of Europe. let the games begin ;-)
° for the first time +ever+ (this is the post of firsts) i visited an artisan bookbiding shop near campus with Paul. the passion in M. Salmon's voice was palpable and his atelier (www.reliure-art.com) was neatly kept where eveything has its proper place.
° speaking of campus (www.unistra.fr), this is my regular tramway stop to go either to school or to get to work. and for the few of you who have been to Strasbourg, the Tramway F is brand new- which makes getting around town even more accessible.
° we went to our favorite Alsacian pub-bistro to celebrate Paul's getting his Master of Art degree from the Université de Strasbourg this spring semester... yAy!
° Aurore and i went to the Musée d'Art Moderne this week to soak in the newest exhibition. on the menu this time: "Works of Chance" by F Scurti.
° on the first day of summer we had some friends over for dinner. it was festive yet relaxed with a layed back menu.
° as fresh as today, i went to the Eglise du Temple Neuf de Strasbourg to see the "Gaia" exhibition. the chandeliers were particularely lavish!
