# 16: romans.fonte.aubergines

° last week end, we were six to go to the Zeum Strissel- the oldest winstub in Strasbourg- for the traditional tarte flambée classique & gratinée! ° my friend, Clémence G., and i have been meaning to go to the Marie-Laure Boutique for ages (and by this i mean for nearly a year), but she lives in Paris. so, i headed there on my own this week to discover the vintage-made-anew goodies. this small boutique- besides carrying the name of one of my sweet nieces- oozes with originality and the French interpretation of the shabby chic style. ° this was the side dish that i opted for on monday to accompany my whole grain basmati rice with a serving of roasted chicken. yum. yum. yummy! ° this red cast iron teapot is the newest edition to my "petits pots.petits mots" collection- where one can find all kinds of sizes and shapes of teapots in my cupboard ;-) ° spring time rimes with lines. literature. words. novels. and so on and so forth! ° on wednesday afternoon, following Paul and Simon's theatre representation at the Musée Tomi Ungerer, we were four to head toward the Café Michel bistro for a quick bite and drinks... thus, this mega kitsch Perrier-flower-bottle that i could not resist but to immortalise it in a photograph. ° "Itsy Bitsy Teenie Weenie Yellow Polka Dot Bikini"... you know the tune! ° i have been devourering the biographical works of the French author, Simone de Beauvoir, written in her own words. she was a woman in tune with her time.
