Photoshoot: Strasbourg ou une définition du luxe!

Lately I have been writing quite a bit on the matter of beauty, health and hair care. Well, that is because this subject is a passionate one for me to discuss on my free time to give me a break from grad school and work.

This blog medium allows me to share the new findings in the world of natural-living. For some women (and men) their idea of luxe might be owning a private jet or the latest high technology face cream or diamonds or the newest convertible car. For those who cannot afford those types of luxury goods, they settle for the middle brands. However, a handful are delighted in finding the purest ingredients- sometimes at their source- to naturally take care of their body, hair and soul; which do not cost an arm and a leg to acquire.

I have noticed that in France that there is a wide range variety of natural ingredients that are readily available to the public. The most important part is to know the way to use them. To me, that is the ideal definition of living a luxurious life...knowledge, at its best. Getting familiar with what one takes in the body is priceless, for one has not the feeling of a victim- so to speak- but can freely make the best decision according to the choices available in the market.

While living in the North East of France, I have slowly established a life routine that best suits my vivid mind and subdued personality. This 'luxe' weekly routine consists of attending Ph.D conferences or seminars to validate my academic year; my 12h part-time job teaching at the Université de Strasbourg; my two-day fitness that boost my metabolism; my two-hour at the sauna/hammam to relax and tone my twenty-eight-year-old body; countless hours of reading for my thesis; spending some time at the theatre or cinema or museum; and, of course, finding and mixing butters and oils to nourish my skin and body from hair to toe- twice a day due to my dry skin complexion and tight-curly-frizzy hair. In doing so, I order my natural products from this site http://www.aroma-zone.com/aroma/accueil_fra.asp and find some tips ( in French) from that one http://www.noireonaturel.com/47.html.
