Photoshoot: le va-et-vient...au théâtre !
I am not sure if I have ever mentioned that the first time I attended a play- understood it completely and enjoyed the show in a more familiar language- was in the fall of 2008 in Strasbourg with a very good friend, Lis. It is a French classic, Phedre at Le Théatre National de Strasbourg (TNS) when Lis and I were attending Université de Strasbourg, then known as Université Marc Bloch, while completing an intership in French Literature.
Now, that I live in Strasbourg- and Lis in Mexico- I continue to attend each and every play (classic & modern) with Paul throughout the academic season 2009-2010 at the TNS http://www.tns.fr/ and Le Maillon http://www.le-maillon.com/ in Strasbourg; then, in Besancon/Franche-Comté, Le Nouveau Théatre http://www.nouveau-theatre.com.fr/.
I concur to say as Voltaire: "Qui n'aime point les vers a l'esprit sec et lourd."-Extrait des Epîtres.
