Photoshoot: elle a cet air...frivole.
I thought after a generous amount of years trying & testing hair care products for African-descent women & men that it would be only fair to share some tips on what has worked for my tightly-curled coils, especially in the past three years after going natural due to an unforseen hair faux-pas. While this (below) is not an endorsed ad campaign for those products, it must be used as a documentary of those (few) hair & skin products that have helped me, especially on a tight budget. In France those natural products are readily available. http://www.aroma-zone.com/aroma/accueil_fra.asp
Although it has taken me a little while to figure out the (best) ingredients that work for natural & dry hair, I am better equiped to understand the mecanism and use them adequately. In other words, ingredients like water, shea butter, cocao butter, organic vegetable oils are excellent allies to promoting healthy scalp and skin.
