# 133 : keeping life's inventory : foliage and food.

In the past six months, I have grown fond of selecting and picking up deep green foliage branches or tree leaves along the way; and, for an inexplicable reason, they have been well-placed into recent table settings or hanging to air-dry in the kitchen where they bring a sense of rooted nature to the room, in the bathroom area where they take a rather light poetic dimension or casually placed in the staircase leading up to our city apartment which affords a welcoming statement every time we pass by them.
